ARAS 360 HD

ARAS 360 HD is a computer program which is able to quickly provide a reconstruction of a collision. It allows the reconstructionist to provide both simulation and animation reconstructions. An example for the use of a simulation would be to find the speed of a vehicle in a collision by matching the collision damage and post impact tyre marks to the damage and tyre mark geometry generated in the computer model. An example of an animation would be a driver's perspective of their line of sight and view leading up to the point of collision. This type of animation could also show both a driver's and a pedestrian's view leading to a collision.
